Promoting inclusive education among visually challenged students through audio books. High school and college text books were converted in audio format and made accessible for the students. The Odisha Blind Association was consulted for selection of books of subjects that require to be urgently recorded. As per their suggestions, 40 books were finalized and the priority was to prepare audio version of all text books from class 8 to Intermediate under the state curriculum. With a true spirit of giving back, local college and University students volunteered their time for the audio recordings. The audio books in CDs and pen drives were distributed to various schools and college students.
